I’m a 19-year-old rising sophomore, one of four siblings. My parents are immigrants from Pakistan. I love working with kids a lot and really wants to be a pediatrician; I can’t see anything else for myself in the future. I’m also kinda a nerd and like video games, binging tv shows, etc..

My Goals

My Goals for This Year
  • Start a club or initiative at Rutgers where crochet and knit, and we donate our makings to a hospital
  • Find pediatrician to shadow under and shadow under said pediatrician
  • Do well in orgo and keep my GPA high
  • Find ways to work at the Autism center on Douglass
My 5 Year Goals
  • Build a strong resume, lots of clinical experience, and get a good score on MCAT
  • Graduate 1 semester early maybe (Fall 2022)
  • Get into medical school hopefully (and be doing well in it)!
  • Get my specialty decided (soon at least)
  • Keep finding opportunities to work with kids
  • Stay happy and occupied and have a life outside of medical school hopefully
My 10 Year Goals
  • Move out, own an apartment at least
  • Be done with pediatrics residency by now and actually having my own practice
  • Be financially stable and comfortable
  • Be able to help those around me
  • Maybe start a family
  • Be happy

I am currently doing research with an incredible professor in the Rutgers Psychology Department about Autism and Parkinson’s Disease. I am working on a manuscript with him right now and hope to get it published.
