• Studied effects of natural products and small molecules on the activation of the Nrf2 transcription factor.
• Author on publication outlining our work on elucidating the role of reactive oxygen species in antioxidant gene regulation; also produced two research reports compiling all results and data from previous semester.
• Techniques included setting up and running SDS-PAGE gels, Western blotting, BCA assays, gene-reporter assays, cell culture.

• Responsibilities included: obtaining IRB approval, creating surveys in REDCap, gathering data and writing for manuscript
