[Maithily]

Hi everyone, my name is Maithily Diaz and I am a first-gen senior dual degree at UMBC getting a BA in Modern Languages (RUSS/SPAN) and BS in Biology with a minors in music and psychology. I plan to go into the Army (2nd generation!); I am interested in orthopedic surgery and since getting involved with neurosurgery orgs recently, I am also interested in neurosurgery (I realize this probably means spine neurosurgery but we’ll fine out!). I also plan to get an MPH in Global Health as I currently do research at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health on mental stigmas in Latino immigrant populations.
